Hey Steemers,
As some of you know.. I'm a freelance concept artist & illustrator.
I've worked for a large number of games and films in the last few years.
One of the cool projects I got involved in from the beginning was HEX.
It was started by Cryptozoic Entertainment about 4 years ago.
HEX is an online trading card game, like many others.
Though it has been around for quite a while it is still quite popular!
Later it cut itself loose from Cryptozoic and nowadays it says it is published by HEX entertainment.
I don't really know why, or what the difference for the game is.
I know that since that happened, working with them became much easier.
In the past you sometimes had to wait for to get paid for months. (paid per card you paint) Which is killing for a freelancer who is still in his 'startup' stage.
I know back then I really counted on that money and when it got delayed, postponed or some strange issue with the bank it would sometimes drive me completely mad! :)
Anyway it was cool in a sense that my work was among the first cards to be released for the game.
So in that sense it was totally worth the wait.
I remember some of the images I made got featured or used in key-art for their websites or promotional materials.

Excellent, you show a fine talent at decorations and original details in your paintings; for example, the "chain-mail" mask of Claw is amazing! Good job, i'll certainly keep an eye for the next HEX post.

Oh man I forgot about this game! I use to play it a few years ago. I should re download it and see whats changed. Awesome artwork cant wait to see more!
