Watercolour Painting of a Daffodil.
......original watercolour by @bleujay; presented by @bentleycapital.
Finished watercolour painting of 'Daffodil Portrait'
Digital edit of finished painting.
Digital work in progress.
Black and white photograph of interesting Daff.
Impromptu Studio
'Daffodil Protrait'
Thank you Steemians.
For those interested in details.....
When setting out to capture the essence of any subject.....look to see that which attracts your eye and enhance or place emphasis on it. For example here, the shape of the daffodil in the black and white photograph assisted in finding a unique shape with which to present the flower.
The black and white digital effects on the finished work are interesting and bring to mind colouring book material.
If one is traveling and there is not a way to travel with the usual materials required for painting....set up a mobile studio....purchase some materials at a hobby shoppe...whilst not the quality one may be used to....this is an excellent way to keep in practice.
Thank you for your interest.
Kind Regards, bleujay

Thank you for your complimentary reply @biyanoor.
Regarding the Steemit guidelines.....I am not sure they would have as much weight coming from this account as they do bleujay's.
......perhaps after this account is a year old and has a higher rep. ^__^
Very kind of you to say.
All the best.
Cheers.
Always a good way to start my day with a new @bleujay post. Thank you for sharing ORIGINAL art thus making Steemit a better place. Blessings

Interesting combination of words you have here of which two of them could possibly pertain to the post.
Please comment with regard to the post....if you are interested in Steemit protocal.
However since we are off topic.....may I present to you the gospel/good news of Christ Jesus.
For you see, God loved the world so much that He gave His uniquely born Son, (Jesus Christ) so that anyone who believes on Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
It is faith alone in Christ alone for salvation.
The issue is Christ.....you either accept or reject Him.
Thank you for the opportunity to think on these things.
Cheers.
any person fails to highlight the beauty in his works only the real artists greetings

It’s my great pleasure!
All the best to you and yours! ;)
Even the in progress works can be complete as art. Nicely done. Also, your bit about details was really good advice
and helpful for photography as well as anything we put our hands to.
It might even be a "principle".
Thank you for stopping by @countrygirl.
Appreciate your thought-full reply as always.
Oh yes....photography as well. Yor comment brought to mind a book for artists titled....How To Draw What You See.......if we apply that to photography.....how about...how to photograph what you see? Thank you for opportunity to think on these things.....interesting.
Wishing you all the best.
Cheers.
What a nice piece! So inspiring. Everytime I see paintings on the feed, the eagerness I feel is always unexplainable. I hope I could paint a lot after collecting enough art materials. Thanks for sharing!
Your work is lovely. I was drawn right away to your image in my preview. I look forward to following you and seeing more.
Greetings @laurawhite.
