Greetings Dear Art Appreciators,
.
Hope you are well and enjoying Spring's finery.
.
The painting 'Lily of the Valley'...was inspired by a bouquet of flowers including Lilies, Belles of Ireland, and Bleu Delphiniums accompanied by leaves of all kinds including those of the Fern...obtained at a local flower shoppe.
An artist never quite knows from whence the ideas and inspiration will come,...but come they do. Sometimes a compilation of several ideas that require a bit of juggling in order to get them all in or some serious editing.
There are not many artists who paint Still Lifes, however there are a few who excel in this genre. One of them is the British Artist...Shirley Trevena.
Having studied the work of Shirley Trevena assisted in obtaining the necessary knowledge base to embark on painting a Still Life resulting in this artwork, 'Lily of the Valley'.
Wishing you and yours all the best.....God's best!
.
..."For you see, God loved the world (mankind) so much that He gave His uniquely born Son (Jesus Christ) so that anyone who believes on Him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3.16
..."For by Grace are you saved through faith and that not from yourselves, it is a gift from God, not of works lest anyone should boast." Ephesians 2.8,9
It is faith alone in Christ alone for eternal life...nothing added.

Thank you @qurator ...very kind of you!
The rough drawing was exceptionally good. I like the little details and the serrated lines on the flowers. The colors added after the rough drawing seemed to hide all that details, but it came out beautiful.
The title reminds me of songs of Solomon (where I'm currently reading for my morning prayers) Lily of the valley.
Greetings @josediccus ,
Thank you for your kind words regarding the artwork....happy to hear you found the drawing to your liking.
The title was a nudge in that direction indeed especially with Easter on the way.
Thank you for dropping by. ^__^
Kind Regards,

I am enjoying seeing all the beautiful flowers and trees blossoming as the spring breaks it's way through.
Your Lilly of the Valley painting is quite nice.
Studying someone else's work that inspires your mind is always so exciting. If you find something in it that you can incorporate in your own thoughts when creating art going forward, that is a real treasure.
Greetings Jacey,

Happy to hear you have Spring's finery about.
Appreciate your compliment with regard to the painting.
Indeed and Shirley Trevena's work does just that for me...she is very strong on Composition...which has really inspired me.
As her work is quite colourful...I hope you will have a look at her work...you may find yourself quite enthralled with how she puts colour together....well maybe.
Wishing you a lovely Saturday,
Bleujay
