Digital Art - Colorful Vegetable &Fruit Flash Art

in #art5 years ago (edited)

Hello,

I have a simple post today. As I mentioned, not long ago I started to draw on a drawing pad, and I wanted to test my drawing speed, since the name Flash already speaks for itself. These took about a half an hour each, more or less, and actually I am happy with the result and speed, because I wanted them to be simple, opposite of my usual style. Out of the comfort zone.
So I wanted to share it with you :)

There it is.

Cute fruits! You said these are outside your comfort zone, but it looks like you're getting the hang of it. How do you like digital drawing compared to traditional? I want to make the switch too, still doing research. I found you from @theartofrez, by the way! 😃

Thank you! I kind of got addicted to digital drawing, I steal the drawing pad from @theartofrez all the time. :D
Hmmm, well, not sure, there are pros and cons to both. I would say I still prefer traditional, but maybe that is because I just started with digital.
Pros of digital? You can play with shading (which you can also do with traditional, though), but you can also play with effects! A loooot.
I think it is best to mix it up, not to loose the feeling in your hand, but if you draw with a drawing pad, it cannot happen. You can't know until you try it, sooo why not? Wish you luck!
Pros of traditional are, of course, various techniques you can use, like aquarel, ink, etc.
So glad you found the post interesting, hope to hear from you in the future :)

You're right, a lot of pros and cons to both. Testing different effects seem like it's one of the most fun aspects of digital, as long as ctrl-z works ;) Thanks for giving your input, it really helps to hear people's opinion on what works best! See you around 👋

Nice, I like it 😀👌

Thank you so much! :)
