I was thinking about sharing my poetry a while, and realized that maybe is not a big deal to open up on your blog 🤗
It was tricky to translate it from my language, but I will post both versions.
Below is an illustration I made for it.
English:
.. and what is happiness, is it the abstract ambition of a failed man?
Longing in vain, the grave of a point that cannot be reached
Poor little hope that raises disappointment on the throne of pain
One flying with the broken fragile wings is inevitably breached
... and what is life, is it a yield of love between cursed destiny and death?
The chessboard of a man in black, who knows when the end is at the door
With his long nails cleaves the irony of survival, and leaves it split
And lives only for that sound when my tears touch the board floor
Serbian:
... i šta je sreća, do apstraktna ambicija propalog čoveka?
Uzaludna žudnja, grobno mesto tačke koja se ne dostiže
Bedna mala nada koja razočarenje na presto bola podiže
Let slomljenim krhkim krilima neminovno čeka prepreka
... i šta je život, do ljubavi smrti i sudbine klete plod?
Šahovska tabla čoveka u crnom, koji zna kad je kraj
Dugim noktima cepa niti ironije opstanka, „ čovek “ taj
Što živi samo za taj zvuk kad moje suze dodirnu pod
