Another week and the Muscadine grapes are a deep dark fully ripe.

in #art7 years ago

Every day now is savory goodness when I peruse the grapevine.

Now that they are fully ripe I share the bounty with Grackles, Cardinals and Mockingbirds among others.

This particular vine produces abundantly so there's enough to go around. My neighbors are happy, I share with them as well.

A quick rinse and this is the last stop for grapes at my house. Muscadines that were basking in the sun moments before are now going to be short sweet work. Forethought never tasted so good.

How many years has this been growing? Looks gorgeous, and delicious.

10 years plus @sbullette. It looks more like a small tree near the base of the vine. When ripe they are fantastic!

Wow! I adore the process of seeing my plants grow over the years. I have a raspberry in its 3rd year that is finally producing.

I would like to add those to the mix here as well. They sound absolutely delish! Congrats on your successful green thumbing @sbullette.

Thank you! And congratualtions on yours! Life is fun in the wild 😉

You are so right. :)

Those look TASTY!

Thanks @mcordy. They are tasty and healthy as well. Nothing like picking and eating them straight off the vine.
