RE: Bone Out From Boneville Review

in #art7 years ago

The series actually takes some pretty serious turns as it evolves into more of an epic fantasy in future volumes, but I still enjoy the whimsical earlier stuff best. While it’s great for all ages I do think it holds up well to adult reading. I can still laugh out loud at some of Jeff Smith’s comedy in Bone.

Maybe I should check out some more of the story then, maybe it will hook me more. The art alone is worth the read for me.

I’ve never read the colorized versions, just the original black & white. I have a nice (& massive) one volume edition that has the complete story (50 issues) in one book. I don’t know if it’s available in color as well, but it’s a great & economical way to dive all the way in!
