It's a new year and time to focus. The challenge of comics has been that I've always wanted the big show. I want to draw and write a piece of work that stands next to all of the large 192-page, authored, thumbnailed, penciled, inked, colored, and ballooned. It's time to remember that I can't. I don't have that kind of help or time. But, also to remember that comics are the easiest thing to make if you boil it down to what you can do. Who says comics has to be all of that? That is a voice in my head that immobilizes me and, today, I should ignore.
