I have been trying to draw or paint every day since the new year started. So far, I've been pretty successful. I would like to keep the momentum going, because, as we all know, the more we do, the better we get at it.
Lately I've been selecting a word or vision each morning to think on, and use as a prompt for the day's doodle. This makes it a bit of a challenge, but also feels like it's still in tune with my thoughts, since I selected the word myself- usually as I'm having my quiet moments as I make & drink my coffee.
Today's word is:
Gateway
This word is fun and has so much possibility. I enjoyed my doodle today, and would love to see some of you use the word "gateway" as a prompt!
I have been doing a lot of meditating in an effort to connect with myself and the world around me lately, so I wasn't surprised at the direction that this doodle took.

A really great sketch @caitycat and I like your idea of prompt word. I always find it easier to give myself perimeters as it gives structure to the allow your mind to the flow from that!
I'm old enough that when I see the word gateway I first think of the computers that were so popular in early 2000's. That's advertising for you, it gets in there and brands you for life.
