I created the second issue of Truth and it was completely funded by my first kickstarter campaign, https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/196420473/truth-issue-2

Be sure to check out issue if you haven't at my post from 5 days ago (*hint *hint, hit that like button while you're there)

At the point in time I began writing this issue, I had already self-published tbe first issue of Truth while deployed. After a surgery that kept me on bedrest for a month, I discovered kickstarter and launched my first campaign for another issue.

This is that issue.

These 3 bandits were kickstarter backers who paid extra to be forever immortalized in Truth issue 2.

Unfortunately for those 3 backers, $70 only gets you a death scene in my comics. :O
Come to think of it, the one representing James wasn't killed. Maybe he'll make a come back in issue 6?

There's another backer, @mike.boatright setting himself on fire.

My mom and grandma were the inn keepers... I spared their characters because I'm sure my super-southern-baptist family didn't approve of a comic book where the protagonist is a demon, then I'm going to draw out their deaths on top of that? It's cool though, I'm about 99% sure they've never read it, and that's probably for the best.

There goes @mike.boatright , begging for death. Ha!

So Mason is a really cool web-developer I met through the campaign and am now friends with. He paid $100 for the premium role, listed as a Mage of Kitarus. The deal was that he would be introduced at the end of the issue and play a significant role in the next issue. We did a little questionaire similar to a simplified D&D character sheet. He was pretty stoked about how it turned out.
