DRAWING A REALISTIC DAVY JONES WITH PENCILS AND PEN

in #art7 years ago

Hello my dear Steemians,

Ok, it's been four nights I can not sleep fast as usual. My eyes did not feel sleepy at all, rather than wasting time wasting, I finally tried to start watching. Incidentally the movie I watched that night was Jack Sparrow in his second movie. I was intrigued by the slightly abhorrent figure of Davy Jones, the octopus-headed man. but it makes me interested to try to draw it. With a few colored pencils and a few fountain pens that I had, I started sketching his head object on canson paper.

And below is the end result.

I started sketching with a pencil on an A3-sized canson paper.

This is the beginning I give color to this artwork.

And then to give the more color with a not too thick shading. I started coloring from the top of Davy Jones's head. And here patience starts in the test :)

Finished up to this stage the second night after I started drawing it. It was exhausting and a little bored. But yeah, that's okay, the heads are beginning to look. Spirit!!!

And this is the end result I finished at the end of the second night. What a process that really exhausted my cylindrical eyes. Forgive if the picture is not too detailed and the color is not so bright. Please understand the pencil I use locally made :)

Well, that's the process of how I do this artwork. Thank you to visiting my blog and I hope this post can be useful for people who read. Hopefully there is something inspired to start making it too, which must be remembered is drawing does not have to use the tools expensive and luxurious, the simple though can also produce a work that is not too bad.

Please resteem and upvote if you like my artwork, and please do not hesitate to ask me if there is anything to ask, I will definitely reply.

Happy weekend folks!

Cheers, @cellosht
