How do you like her??? Not to toot my own horn but I love how she turned out. As some of you may've read, I just lost my job for a discriminatory reason. I always workout and enjoy my artistic endeavors but, they are into overdrive now! Gotta keep that depression at bay.

This beauty was designed by artist and personal friend of mine, @tabzjones, from her coloring book "Fantasy Fae". You can purchase here:

You can't beat the price for the countless hours of entertainment you will subsequently receive! Below, I'll show some work in progression shots and the mediums I used.

In the following pictures you can see my mediums. For her wings, I used a bunch of different faber castell glitter pencils. Then I blended with some oil. For detailing of the face/eyes/lips I used fineliners and black glitter sakura gel pen. I used a white sakura for the white of her eyes.

I used stardust sakuras on the leaves and star things. I used eye shadow for the background, and greyish-blue pencils on her hair. I used an imperial violet and sky blue pencil on her shirt.

I used a flesh toned copic for her skin, attempting to make the face lighter as a focal point. This was a lot of fun.

What fun! she came out beautifully!
That's an interesting way to do a coloring page. I've only ever seen line drawn coloring pages. Would you say you prefer coloring a greyscale image over coloring a line drawing?

It is more 3d/ grayscale yes. To me, I find this really helps me to better conceptualize shading, light, shadows, etc. It different but fun. I also like line drawings too.

Also thank you!

Relaxing time spending I guess... Have a good day
