RE: "Oak Creek Rocks"

@yaan Thanks! Please allow me to explain why paintings have different looks, even by the same artist. As a person and as an artist, I'm evolving, hopefully improving! LOL I try different things in my work. Painting to me would be very, very boring if I painted basically the same picture in the same way, over and over. Many artists do that because they find a market for a certain style, become known for it, their galleries and collectors demand it, and therefore get trapped by their "success." I have never allowed myself to fall into that trap. I paint for art's sake, not money's sake. I could have done that, easily, and be driving a Ferrari right now instead of an old Ford truck.

Consequently, you see the results of my successful experiments with painting. You see the honest artworks of a real artist. That's why my paintings have different "styles" as you describe it. I'll never stop growing, never stop experimenting. It's too interesting for me to ever let it go!

Thanks so much for your continued support. You asked a great question and I'm happy to answer it.

Well i've already asked that question about different styles at least 3 times lol (sorry for that).
Because they changed like ocean waves. And works looked more detailed.
Hmmm... Money doesn't matter but It would be hard to continue painting without it.
I hope you have enough to keep living as an artist.

Maybe you've missed my answers because I have tried to answer you! This time, I thought I'd flesh my answer out a bit more. Yes, I get by. I've always sold my honest artworks, though it has been periods of feast and famine. 99.9999% of the people on this planet will NEVER buy an original artwork in their entire lives...which means the art market is infinitesimally small. Happily, I've managed to find some art collectors.

Sweet! My respect to master Lee.
