Painted from life.
”The Old Erickson Place, Idaho” 16”x22” (#2111) oil on linen canvas
by Lee Gordon Seebach
Usually, I don't like to be bothered when I'm painting because it interrupts the flow of work and my concentration. On the other hand, I don't mind it if people just stop to be friendly, want to say "hello" and then respect my space and leave. It's when they want to stop and talk for an hour and tell me that they have an uncle who paints that's awful. Everyone seems to have an uncle who paints! It's amazing. Come to think of it, my nieces and nephews have an uncle who paints! 😂
At any rate, a very considerate and friendly local stopped by briefly as I was working on this painting and told me that the Erickson family used to live in these abandoned buildings. That was very helpful because then I knew how to entitle the painting. 😎

Nice one (again)!
Well, at least the passers-by who talk to you don't scare away what you are making a picture of!
Thanks @ocrdu ! You mean they stop by and scare away your dragonflies and frogs and such when you're trying to take pictures!? LOL And, they have an aunt who's a photographer? 😀
They do. Not sure about the aunt, though 8-).
Very good composition and colors.
Thanks for sharing.
