Want Art Tips?
I'm thinking about sharing my art knowledge, gleaned from 55 years of painting and 45 years as a professional, on this Steemit blog. But would my Steemster followers be interested in them?
I've been doing this all along now and then, but I could focus on this more if you want. I could post tips on technical aspects of creating art plus info on building an art career: marketing, framing, art supplies, dealing with art galleries, crating, etc.
Please let me know in the comments below. Thanks!
Have a superlatively stunning day today and every day!

I think there are lots of aspiring artists who'd enjoy learning from a seasoned professional. In times gone by, there used to be such things as "apprenticeships" where students learned at the feet of a master... seems to me something was "lost" when everything went to just being "art school" or online courses... individuality maybe?
Lovely painting, as usual! In following you here for a few weeks, one of the things I've noticed is that you're an outstanding colorist.
Must be a bug - I just wrote a reply, posted it and it disappeared!
OK second try....Thanks @reddragonfly for the feedback and nice words.
I did study under a kind of apprenticeship: four years of art school under the direct guidance of fine instructors and masters. I'm very glad that I had that training.
I think there are many of us who would benefit very much from your knowledge @chessmonster and would welcome your advice very much> :)
Another beautiful painting my friend!
I'm not sure if it is of interest to you but I came across this post while looking at my friend @reddust's page. If you are not aware of Red Dust she is also a fantastic artist. :)

Hope you are having an excellent day!
@tonyr Thanks for the feedback! If I decide to focus on art tips, I'll see what I can come up with since I'm not sure how I will handle it yet. I might make it a regular, weekly blog post or something like that.
Yes, I've been following @reddust for a long time, and I did read that post. It's interesting but I'm not sure it's necessary since I already have followers on Steemit who could buy my work directly from me with Steem or with PayPal from my website. However, it's a bit tricky with Steem because there's no "middleman" so there would need to be a smart contract involved.
I thought as much @chessmonster. :)
I think it might be a good idea for less established artists here on steemit though. I look forward to seeing how it progresses.
I agree: others may very well benefit from it. Thanks for your continued support of my blog @tonyr !
Visited your website https://leegordonseebach.com .. Loved the original under 300 section :)
