I have been keeping a sketchbook diary after I came across Angie Stevens's blog - DoodleMum. I feel inspired to start our family diary after going through her blog. Angie chronicles her mundane family day to day life on her Moleskin sketchbook. I thought it was a great idea to record the simplest thing and it could become a family treasure someday, a treasure trove we could flip through in the years to come.
The pages I shared here were from an old sketchbook. My daughter was about 3 years old at that time and my son wasn't even born yet. Most of these sketches were funny incidents that happened in our life back then.
I was potty training my daughter and hence this sketch.
My daughter was throwing a massive tantrum because I forbid her to watch Barney.
Exhausted yours truly.
Well...diarrhea...
My artsy daughter's fingernails.
Kissing scene on telly.
This. True back then, still true now.
What do you think of these sketches? Please leave your comments below. Thank you!

wow great work, it's lovely to memories like this, these days we used to keep our memories in photos but your idea is great.
thanks
have a wonderful day!
Thank you @dinsha . It's easier to just take photos but it's even more meaningful to sketch them - a lot more fun :)
Quite cool hahahah good work!
Thank you @damira :)
I enjoyed it a lot and you got such a talent on this 😄. It takes some of your time but at the same time it is a good way to relax isn't it? Upvoted and followed you for more posts like this. 😊
Thank you very much @happyfree . You are right, this is fun to sketch and very therapeutic after a long stressful day :)

Hey, great work, check out my sketchbook blogs!
Thank you @urbanart88
I think those sketches are fun and a great way to bring back the moment. It's tragic how much we can forget without reminders. You could turn them into a cool kid's book.
Thank you @deemarshall . It's a lot funnier in sketch form, IMO. And yes we forget the little details unless we make the effort to jot them down.
This is an awesome idea. I bet you had a lot of fun going through the old sketches and picking which ones would make the post.
Thank you @dadview . Yes I did. My kids and I had a good laugh :)
Nice sketches :)
Thank you for your kind words @prakashghai :)
