Hey everyone, this will be my final review on Patrick the amazing metal sculptor from South Africa. Last week I made two posts featuring some more of his amazing work you can check them out over here https://steemit.com/art/@craigcryptoking/another-amazing-african-sculptor-beautiful-african-life-sized-beasts-made-from-sheet-metal-episode-1
Not only does he make amazing life like wild animal sculptures he also does random trinkets such as windmills, flowers, tractors and other general paraphernalia.
Here he 'stepped out of the box' a little and tried his hand at something a little different baco tractor of sorts and it looks pretty cool..
This one a pelican, I think? We don't get them in South Africa but its very cute none the less..
Here we have another cool little tractor. Those wheels don't look as if they would perform too well on ice right? But who needs tractors for ice in Africa ;)
Here we have a beautiful sculpture that can be hung on a wall in the house, I think this would look most perfect in a Braai (BBQ) area.
Yellow sunflowers anyone? No problem Patrick can make them.
Here we have a similar rendition of the above lilly's but this time he put a nice frame around them I think they look pretty nice too.
Here we have a general overview of all his windmills, pics taken for a little further away..
Here we have the Sable Antelope I featured in the first episode, pic taken from a different angle he sells each of these for R4000 around $340 very well priced indeed.
Violin you say? Sure no problem Patrick can make them too. These pieces make the most amazing focal point in any garden or house ...
I will be calling the newspapers today to see if we can get him featured in the Pretoria News like Oliver (the artist I previously featured) who found himself in the Local Newspapers too. Patrick is also more than deserving.
Here we have some more framed flowers, too nice.
I shall be posting further updates and pics if we manage to get him into the local papers too so be sure to watch out for that.
Cheer$;)
Nice post...
They are really a beautiful piece. Good jog to the creative artist.
Thanks darlin. You playing today?
What are they made of?
Soil or metal?
Sheet metal painted dark ;)
This is what i call gifted hands. God bless him more.
He's amazing right ;)
Yea
Very nice sculptures you have ther in Africa. In August 2018 I will fly to Tansania and will teach some African carpenters on machines. I hope I will see some simmilar sculptures too! :-D
