The Structure of a Continuum – 13

in #art6 years ago

A new understanding of the Internet is being structured here in the sense of it as an art medium.
It is traditionally accepted that art-making is an autonomous activity and that art as a product is always in a recognizable, accepted, common medium. If each individual artist needed to invent their medium and the techniques for its use, our culture's interplay with art would be nonexistent.
I am presenting a subtle challenge to these assumptions about the role of invention, and testing it here. By demonstrating with my work how the medium of the Internet broadens the field of art beyond these deterministic factors, I am introducing a logic where all autonomous activity is recognized as art on the Internet, and all art on the Internet is recognized as currency.
The thousands of ways to argue for this are summarized in the examples I'm showing here on Steemit. By three dramatizations the Internet becomes the medium for the interplay that makes the consensus on value an art topic. A blockchain emulation and a distributed record of history along with a product with a enduring identity are all represented as exchangeable as assets over time.
This is placed in Steemit to have a blockchain record. Steemit acts as if it were a canvas where paint creates something attractive; aesthetic; like color and brush strokes... only these are individual search terms that other Internet applications will find attractive and find this context I have built to be here for as long as Steemit's blockchain exists.

Trusting in that, each post here presents the most current art for codifying the structure of the knot, and the image shown here is measuring systemic reality as a sequential growth pattern describing two five crossing knots combined together with one four crossing knot and two three crossing knots using eight modules of a nine module square to grow this continuum up to a unique knot composition that gives meaning to the value of modules 184, 185, 186, 187, 188, 189, 190 and 191 in the Cryptoknot protocol. These tokenized numbers will never be associated with any other entity but this immutable form of two five crossing knots and one four and two three crossing knots, combined, regardless of what form this may take, and this will always be known by this set of numbers whose origins form one title block in a blockchain that associates it with the cryptoknot concept.

That web site has a second component that helps set another tone for the Internet as an art medium. This draws attention to a more common scenario it is used for – more yang by virtue of its digital user friendliness.
There is no scarcity of chatty stories in the average involvement on the Internet. The future lies in Steemit's way of “grading” the quality of these monetarily. It's a bit sidetracked now, but the logic is in the right place.
This is the story that takes The Great Knot toward a James A. Michener multi generation epic like “Centennial” in a tale for the future. An art that the Internet can use to define both physical and virtual destinations and absorb that scenario's topical blockchain as a gateway is what The Great Knot suggests.

In brief, a patented invention was used for a process that made multi-colored impressions in durable epoxies on durable substrates. The technique produced identifiable differences in each impression. Production of these unique miniature prints was restricted to SignOn to the spirit merchandise and a license and contract for printing the Woodstock '94 logo was obtained.
These are distributed all over the world. A record of each was kept to show the functionality of the patented devices. They are mostly limited editions as scarce event memorabilia.
The SignOn concept with its signature panels is unique among these products in the thousands of “tags” left behind that the owners of these colorfully printed metal dog tags can identify with.
The SignOn tags and the Woodstock '94 tags and other SignOn products are being drawn in as examples so the Cryptoknot narrative has three generations with parallel identities for its story.
The Internet's identity as a medium for art needs to be explained like that. That wording, or something similar, is imagined continuing as a blockchain entry, with its very specific geometric determinism advancing forever. It is a description of something each different individual writes into the Internet for each new knot that is added to the sequence on into some distant time from the present. This one just forms a place in setting the stage to introduce the elements of the back story for http://www.greatknot.com that has planned the ITO of Cryptoknot in that early 2018 White Paper. The way these examples intertwine is rounded off by this focus on 1993, at about this time of year, as an anticipation of today's blockchain as a system creating identities described today as a NFT, or Non Fungible Tokens. This is here in the https://steemit.com/art/@cryptoknot/the-structure-of-a-continuum-5 post which points to treatments and concepts placed into Facebook, and continued there.
