Years ago I bought a folder with gray paper for sketching. Then it's hard to find a good watercolor paper, and I'm glad even that. What surprised me when I started drawing on the gouache paper. Yes, and the watercolor looks great, because on such a dark base, the work is similar to the ancient drawing. Years have passed, but I still keep a few sheets from that folder, because today I did not find any such paper in the store.
