Continuing on from my trip to Maine, I was able to enjoy a walk after a light summer drizzle. I was able to capture some nice water beads that accumulated on flowers and plants. I wanted to share with you a couple of my favorites.
I really love the contrast of colors on this beautiful flower. The veins that flow to the flower petals are beautiful and sharp and the overall flow is softened by the soft water bead orbs.
I always loved Japanese Maples and the sharpness and rigidity of their leaves. The accumulated water beads left by the rain softens the shape of this overwise razor sharp image.
