The anger of a Agboo river

Sometimes ago, a family decided to go for a tour, during their planing the man (Head of family) decided to invite few of his friend to go with them, some of his friend decided to with him while some busy with others schedule. They have to cross a river of Agboo to other side before they start their tour.

This river of Agboo was an ancient river which community used to make sacrifice for it every year, but the king on the throne at that time insisted that he won't make any sacrifice at all, traditional worshipers went to talk to King about the consequences it will attract if they fail to make the sacrifice, still King disagree with them.

Traditional worshipers went their way, on the way they gathering to show the king some terrestrial power for refusing to sacrifice to the river of Agboo, one among the traditional worshiper went behind them to report back to King, King make a move sent guards to arrest them and sentence them to put to death for rebellion act.

it was after the their death this family decided to go on a tour, everyone was panic the river Agboo man get angry, but the King assure everyone there is no cause for alarm. This family with his few friend embark on their tour, but on their way the ship was capsized, everyone struggle for their life, but they eventually lose their precious life, three person survived the scene, while others lost their life, among the survivor is the man (Head of the family) and twins new born baby was rescued.

People went to protest to the king to make the sacrifice, while other demanded that he must be removed as their king, the youth of the community burnt the palace to ashes at the middle of the night, King, and his family and with his wives was in the burnt house. Very sadden story to read, King stubbornness send many lives to early graves and he end up lost his life with his family too, it is very good for one to be very careful in our contemporary world, may God protect our going and coming in.
