After a very long break, I suddenly wanted to draw something) or rather someone.
I always liked to draw pencil portraits, a child drew all my relatives.
Then it was a funny picture) more like the cartoons, but mom and dad had carefully kept their :-)
And now I often draw interesting people)
that the drawing was Patti Smith. Daughter told me about this singer, for me it is interesting as a thought leader and "woman revolutionary" in the music :-)

Great job. I was going to say that the receding eye is pushed too far forward in space, but then I checked the reference and that is the way it looks. My only criticism would be the shading on the right side of the neck looks like it should be shaded darker a little further down right below her jaw line. It just looks like it is contradicting the space.
Really great job. I am following for more.
