Ronnie Fieg was born and raised in Queens. His involvement in footwear is indescribable. He is the genius behind KITH and sees the brand as an extension of himself, Fieg seeks to shift the current landscape of fashion, while operating under a personal philosophy of giving the consumer more than what they pay for.
Influenced by the punk and grunge cultures of his youth, L.A.-native Mike Amiri launched his eponymous ready-to-wear label in 2013. He is interesting to me because he immersed himself in his work, sacrificing time and sweat but never quality for his craft. His recognition is something new, but its built on work. His roots are deep in passion and courage.

Tinker Hatfield is the designer at Nike responsible for countless classic sneakers. The Air Jordan and Air Max fall part of Tinkers repertoire. Tinker began his career at Nike as an architect, having received his degree in that field from the University of Oregon he later transitioned to sneaker design. Tinker inspires me by thinking differently but also effectively, a true visionary.
