Sketching is one of my favorite things to do on vacation. It helps me see the little details and take in the place. Here are a few sketches from a trip to Europe a few years ago.
These are photos of the originals that are now framed. Most of these sketches took 5-15 minutes. While the perspective may be fairly accurate the pen lines are very rough and sketchy. That’s how I like it. Recognize any of these places?

5-15 mins? Wow! I'd possibly spend 3 hours or so if I was urban sketching. These look wonderful! Haven't been to any of the places but of course, Westminster Abbey is easy to recognise.
Very nice... I would like to be able to do the same. In 1 hour, I make one sketch with wrong perspective :-)
