MAKING POP ART

I enjoy the art because it makes me discover myself inside all about this magnificent magic universe.

This time I want to share this little work in Pop Art style, it's about a real portrait that I have captured in scale with this effect. This is a gift to celebrate our half year wedding and I'll use it as decoration for our bedroom.

What is Pop Art?

Pop Art is an artistic movement about comics, advertising, magazines or cinema of the decade of the 50's. There are several types of Pop Art, some use the juxtaposition technique (place or interpose figures); this is the technique that I have applied.

I've done the portrait black and white, interposing geometric figures and some color effects.

PROCESS

The tools that I've used have been the following:
Canvases
Graphit pencil
Acrylic paintings
Brushes
Scotch tape
