This is really good. I know what you mean by calling your own work amateur because you want to get to a different proficiency than you are now, and that can be frustrating, I share this feeling. BUT your style and ideas are totally solid and this is good. I like the brushiness , lines, movement, and your color work. Don't get too hung up comparing yourself to the place you want to be .. work with what you have now! There are plenty of celebrated artists that take advantage of all kinds of textures, styles, mishaps.. we can do the same. It feels great to make art and to keep developing and thats the best part.
