I've found losing weight has to do with the quality of the food, what kind of food because everybody uses calories differently, along with age, because hormones play a huge part in weight loss and weight gain, portion size is the most critical part of the diet. I use small plates and no seconds...lolol

You are right, it's the hunger games right now. After I am done with the 800 calorie diet, I will start weight lifting and continue walking four miles a day. Old ladies develop fragile bones because of the loss of the hormone estrogen. We can compensate with weight-bearing exercises. I've weight lifted with a trainer in the past, so I have excellent form, and I will be able to up my calorie intake without the fear of gaining weight again. More muscle mass more calories burned!
