Today I'm going to tell you about Carver Colman, also known as Nathaniel Dusk.
The action takes place on Earth 0.
JUNE 8, 1954
Carver Colman on the set of the last scene of the movie "The Adjournment". Due to the fact that the main character constantly forgets Nathaniel's last phrase, the studio has to reshoot the scene 13 times. Carver realizes that he has not been able to cope for 1 take for 2 months and blames it on a headache.
JUNE 1, 1954
Colman reads a letter in which someone threatens to reveal his secret.
MARCH 19, 1952
The main character is awarded the Oscar for the 25th time at the Pantages Theater. This is the first ceremony that is shown on TV. Carver thanks his director, genetic parents, and foster mother Charlotte Colman, for everything.
JUNE 8, 1954, 2:25
Colman asked for a break for 15 minutes. The director suggests rescheduling everything for tomorrow, but the main character declares that they have to finish today.
6 hours after shooting "The Adjournment", Carver went to celebrate with the heads of the studio.
35 minutes ago he went to a bar.

Colman is waiting for his blackmailer. It turns out to be his foster mother. Charlotte says she is ready to defend the lies of the main character for a large fee, but he refuses and leaves.

IN THE MOVIE
Nate is lying on the floor, where he is being held at gunpoint by Policeman Murray. In front of the first is his girlfriend Joyce. Dusk asks if she loved him, or if it was another lie. Joyce replied that her feelings were real, so she brought the main character a gift - a glass ball in the form of a globe. On each date, Nathaniel told the girl that when they were together, it was as if they were alone in the whole world. The gift is a symbol of Joyce's desire to keep this world with Nate in her memory. Dusk throws the ball in Murray's face. The last one flies out of his hands with a pistol.
CHRISTMAS 1928
Carver sits in a dark Philadelphia movie theater while his foster mother nearby dances for pennies for lustful men. When Charlotte brings one of these men to their home, Colman decides to go west.
DECEMBER 31, 1928
The main character arrives in Los Angeles with $17 and spare clothes.
JANUARY 19, 1929
Carver has been delivering mail to the Paramount Studio for 8 months. People never remembered his name.
FEBRUARY 14, 1929
Colman sees the head of the studio kissing a man. The manager drops the cigarette. 7 hours later, the pavilion burned to the ground. The studio claims that the reason was bad wiring. Because of this, the main character loses his job.
FEBRUARY 12, 1937
Carver is fired from the Dan Tana restaurant after he did not come to work because of an audition that did not take place.
APRIL 18, 1938
Colman is evicted. That same night, he sleeps on the streets of Los Angeles. At ten minutes to midnight, the main character is woken up by the police. Carver says he has nowhere to go, for which he receives a powerful blow to the head with a baton. When the police chase Colman away and leave, an unknown blue flash throws them away. The main character realizes that the cops are dead. Carver notices a naked blue man.
AUGUST 13, 1943
The first film about Nathaniel Dusk was released, titled "Nothing Left to Lose". This film is the most successful in "Warner Bros.".

APRIL 18, 1938
An unknown person introduces himself to Carver as John. Colman takes John for an angel, but he refutes his guesses. They come to the cafe "Amaldo". The main character says that he has no money, but the blue guy, saying that they will not be needed, asks the waitress to give them a table for two. Carver is trying to figure out why she was looking at John normally. He explains that he changed the frequency of light around him. The waitress sees only the former incarnation of the blue guy. Colman orders a plate of chicken noodle soup.
APRIL 18, 1939
Meeting in the same cafe, the main character tells John that he was right. Carver got a role on the same stage with Gary Cooper in a movie called "The Westerner".
APRIL 18, 1938
Colman tells the guy about his problems.
APRIL 18, 1943
Meeting again in this cafe, the main character tells John that Otto Preminger insists on shooting a new film about Nathaniel Dusk.
APRIL 18, 1952
After the awarded the Oscar, Carver meets a blue guy in the same place. After telling John everything, Colman says goodbye to the guy and leaves for a party in his honor.
APRIL 18, 1938
Carver asks the guy if he should give up? In response, John says that in 8 months Colman will get a role that will change his life. That's how they become friends. A second later, John disappears. In his place, Carver finds a photo of his new friend with his late wife.
APRIL 18, 1948
After the release of the new movie "Murder in the House", Carver meets John in the same place. Colman thanks his friend for what he said to him in the last meeting. John asks the main character about a certain "Superman". Carver says he has no idea who it is. A second later, the blue guy disappears.
JUNE 8, 1954
IN THE MOVIE
Nathaniel realizes that Joyce forced him to investigate in order to cover his own tracks. 10 seconds later, Murray shoots Nate in the back, thereby killing him.
IN REAL LIFE
After meeting with his mother, Colman comes to his home. There he meets a blue guy. The main character asks what his friend sees. In response, he receives only silence. Then Carver asks John to tell him what is happening to him and why he is here. The blue guy replies that he has no idea. Knowing that John never eats, Colman still decides to pour him a whiskey. When the main character takes the bottle and turns around, he realizes that his friend has disappeared again. After 2 seconds, Carver hears some noise in the apartment. Another 2 seconds pass. Someone hits Colman from behind with a pipe. A second later, the second intruder beats the main character to death with a lamp.
CHRISTMAS 1928
Carver makes love to his friend named Bill. When the mother notices this, she throws Colman out of their apartment. Then the main character decides to go to Los Angeles.
1954
IN THE MOVIE "The Adjournment"
On Christmas Eve, Dusk, while in his office and getting drunk, looks at a photo of his now deceased fiancee Joyce Julino with her two children. After some time, the main character meets his old friend Lieutenant Murray Abrahams.
Going with Murray on a case, Nathaniel calls the police just in case and asks them to come to his house later.
When Abraham's gun falls out of his hands, Nate tries to catch it. Unfortunately, Joyce quickly returns the gun to Murray. Hearing the sound of a police siren, Dusk tells Murray that he solved the chess players' crime 35 minutes ago. He realized that both chess players were targets of Julie, but she also ordered Abraham to kill them both.
After Murray is shot, the protagonist, bleeding, tells Joyce that he loves her too. Still smiling, Nathaniel passes out.
On New Year's Eve, when people gather, waiting for the countdown to end, Nate hobbles to them on a crutch, which is recovering from an injury. The doctor told the Dusk that he would no longer be able to play his detective games. The main character does not mind and understands the greatest lesson in his life. When the clock is approaching 12 and people are cheering, Nathaniel says, "It's not about losing or winning, it's about how you play the game.".
