My lighthearted deocrative version of "Judith with the head of Holofernes"
Here is the entire piece
This is an older digital piece. I did this for a quick day study back in an old "inktober" challenge well before Steemit and when I was beginning to get my stride in digital.
We are currently moving into another big Winter storm here in my area of coastal New England and I don't even know how long we shall have power. This storm, however, shall be even more annoying then the last, as that version had a generator so we could still make coffee and keep warm and use or comps (but no internet) for three days.
During that storm at the end, we lost our old generator and could not buy one since as all the stores have been sold out.
So, here I sit, hoping to do some work and some Steem but all the while the snow is piling and the wind is blowing...
I thought I'd better share something made already today and when I saw this piece I made I thought, I'd like to be like Judith to this storm. I'd use my feminine whiles on it and lure it into a drunken stupor and then chop off it's stormy white head! So, in many ways , art is a therapy, non?
Well, if I am offline for a few days you can assume I am huddling with chicks and dog and cold coffee under a blanket using my 'analog' artists tools of pen and paper.
Just to give you and myself a taste of Spring before sending this off to the |Steemian blockchain, her are some of my melons and cukes and wildflowers happily growing in my kitchen in what is, for now, a warm house.
Oh SPRING why have you forsaken me.

Nice piece of work. Keep it up and keep trying .
A quick comment here it took me all morning to get this to post as our power and internet kept going in and out I'll possibly be off here for a bit if we lose power like last time. My best to my fellow steemians looking forward to posting and commenting more regularly again...stupid storms
Klimt is peeking from dress pattern @donnadavisart :) Love it :)
Beautiful piece of art... again :) Better stay friends with Judith ;) Stay safe in the storm Donna and looking forward to see how this stormy event has inspired your art. "Huddling with chicks and dog and cold coffee under a blanket " would make a nice theme perhaps? :)
I just love your work. Do you have any digital drawing tutorials that you like? I need to up my game a bit. I am working on some drawings and feel stuck lately ... need more skillz :)
Protect your quails and pets and keep drawing romantically with a candle light.
Oh my! This one is outstanding!!
