I can remember the feeling, both good and bad, and this tends to slant towards the good, I think. I have other old writings about love that sound more like battle memoirs. :/ This one's all warm and soothing. The blanket version instead of the cage I suppose.
It definitely slanted toward the good. 'Said no bird ever' made me laugh. But yes, warm fuzzy blankets :)
