I've recieved 6 different illustration commission projects in a row during my London trip. Ofcourse all they were waiting will I get back but I've kept one day for myself today. I am not sure when will be the next such a free day to draw just anything I want so no best time rather now. Just done this illustration today and from tomorrow will start all these commercials: children book cover illustration, character design for Russian-Japanese fresh vegetable growing company, character design for QIWI Payment system, stickers and illustrations for one popular YouTube blogger and one more portrait avatar ordered from Fiverr guy.
Pencil Sketch
These are all freelance stuff plus there have to be done a lot of work for eSteem project. New illustrations, more application UI redesign tweaks and other things.
Process Steps
Anyway, really energized and inspired from the recent trip. London is so beautiful city. I had no expectations about it and had been there for the first time but it was amazing! We've been there for few days but seen a lot. Mostly just walking on its amazing famous streets from elementary school books seeing the sights from early morning till night.
I had started this character in the plane two months ago but had no clue how to finish it before. Who is it? What is the purpose behind him? I had no idea.
Final
But after the trip in the plane back home I've realized it's just me in London. So here it is finished. Hope you like it.
Done in Adobe Photoshop with the help of my tiny and powerful Microsoft Surface Pro 2017 with i7 processor and 16 gb of RAM. Beast machine!
By the way, got my hand to Samsung Galaxy Book 12 in London Samsung Store but could not completely research it because it was locked with all the types of security things and there were no Photoshop to try drawing. I've tried standard Windows Ink drawing app but saw no difference in between my Surface and Samsung though Wacom AES technology should perform much better in the sense of drawing comparing to Microsoft N-TRIG.
That's was very interested journey i hope
For sure!
I really love your style. I have read that you use surface pro. Is it this which was advertised some time ago that you can use it as scratching board?
Thank you! Well, I haven't seen any advertising about it. Do you mean that it is so useless so you can just cut vegetables on it? 😂
That one:
Oh by scratching you supposed to mean sketching I guess? Well, this is not that particular one. This called Surface Studio. I have Surface Pro 2017 and it's a mobile tablet with only 700 Gramm weight I could use it even inside a plane or train while traveling.
Haha, my bad. I was really thi king if it is so convinient as it looks on video. Regards :-)
Haha :) not sure about the big one, but small is very handy for me

221b Baker Street is the first thing come into my mind while reading xD
😂 Haha! Do you like Sherlock? We've been on that street but it happened spontaneously. We just walked and then saw big queue to his museum.
I like it from high school and more addicted after watching BBC one 😀 No matter how long the queue is, I will join them and make the queue one person longer! 🤣
Haha! You should come there for sure! This is one of the most beautiful cities I've ever seen!

@dunsky I am relatively new to Steemit and looking for someone to design me a Steemit signature graphic. Is that of any interest to you? You're clearly very talented. Of course, you'd receive credit for each post I publish.
I would like to get not only credit but the debit also :) I am sorry, right now I have really a lot of commercial orders in the queue. If you wish to order an illustration from me would you please write an email to me with all your requirements such as what do you want me to draw, how detailed it should be etc?..
My mail is on the header of my site which is on the header of my steem profile page cover :) Haha! It's like a needle inside an egg which is inside a duck which is inside a rabbit. Try to catch it :)
