Imagine you're in the art gallery or museum exhibiting most of the famous artists ever. I am living in such a museum at home. Because I live with true genius. Meet my wife Katya Maleev.
I was showing some drawing basics and Adobe Photoshop technique to her in the beginning 7 years ago. First she was drawing similar to my style and gradually she developed her own.
Everybody who have some courage will tell that she is drawing much better than me. I completely agree with that statement. Now I am learning from her a lot. My own illustrations are more commercial like. There is more profession in my works if you know what I mean. Her works are more true art.
Though she accepts commercial orders sometimes but still I told her not to work but just enjoy creating real art and learn as much as possible till we both have such an opportunity.
I am dreaming she will start creating children's books soon. This is also a dream for myself but since I am more commercial and there are really low budgets for the books so it's more possible for us to create our own books one day.
Katya don't like to spend much time online and she is not comfortable in English. So I never had a chance to convince her to join Steem but at least she agreed I could post her works here. All the earnings from this post will be given to her. I promise :)

I suppose you mean a good successful teacher always makes his pupil to be even more genius than himself, right? 😂

Is the work digital or traditional? It's hard to tell sometimes. I hope she makes some children's books as well, I would want them on my bookshelves!
