This is the second piece for the same order. I've been writing about the first one few days ago. Check it out in case you've missed that.

Another illustration created for big event in Moscow for forum of the young talented people. You were supposed to be the First who will meet the Second Malevich. That's what the slogan said. No strict task. Only this few words as an idea and I had to create anything I wanted.

Kazimir Malevich was a Russian painter and art theoretician. He was a pioneer of geometric abstract art and the originator of the avant-garde Suprematist movement.

Malevich is quite popular in Russia and his most famous work is Black Square. So I've started to play with that shape again. Could not find any sketches ufortunately. No wait. I've just found them! I've never showed them anywhere but here it is! Such a big luck. Those times I never started without a sketch actually. Pencil is still alive here!

Since it was one of my first orders and I lived in Khabarovsk city which is in +7 hours time difference from Moscow I was in rush to color whatever I've created without showing it to the client.

I've done this road banner stand to make a preview for the client. This supposed to be 6x3 meters big outside.

For my international portfolio at Behance I've created English version so actual in Russia actually. I've found it will suit as an Adobe advertising for the pirates. Those days Adobe started Creative Suit subscription and it was cheaper rather than buying standalone application versions. So you don't have to hide anymore and could just subscribe.

This is Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator icons (those days they had been looking like that but now may be slightly rebranded). And some closeup with the texture here...

That's it! Hope you like it. If you have something to say feel free to comment. I would appreciate and accept any critique or suggestions.

I remember those days, Fil! Nostalgy :) You've made great piece of art!

Nostalgia 😂

Great artwork. I also want to learn to make it

Very cool picture! For me, it's an inconceivable art to make such amazing drawings. It is very difficult. Without a great talent can not do.

thats a good design and showing a complete sense ......that dont hide any more

It sounds corny, but i really can't get enough of your artworks ! I could look at them all day... but still the best ( my favorites ) are the bears on your cover image up here... :-)
