Week ago I was showing one of the illustrations for russian optic saloon Masteroptik. I had to do few illustrations on poor eyesight theme.
Idea & sketching
This idea was suggested by my client and I was thinking to use shape contrast in the composition here. Done this sketch with pen on paper.
Coloring
How the modern artists says I've rendered this in Adobe Photoshop drawing on Macbook Pro with Wacom Intuos 3 A5 tablet. There were 64 layers only. Could be less with same result but it's just a habit to create new layer for each objects on the canvas.
This advertising could be found at Moscow streets. Few years passed but still this image is useful. There is one more illustration for this project I can show you later.

This art is cool
Thanks!
Ooh, I love this one, the curve and circular feel is so inviting. And I love the sketch too. The tattoo is perfection. :)
Thanks a lot, Donna!
Oh, that's so cute and adorable illustration. ^.^
I was a bit concerned about the dog, but then saw his smiling face and thought - maybe he needed a new hairdo... ^.^
Haha, yeah, everything is good! There were much more harmful ideas from the client side first but I've tried to change them to look less aggressive.
lovely sketch , and cool idea , <3 , 64 layers :D so im not the only one who like to make many layers in photoshop lol
64 is not too much in my case :P some works I am creating may have 600-800 layers :)
Poor doggo... is it crying? ;_;
Well I hope doggo will get some clothes for the winter season.
Nice illustration otherwise, very effective in telling the idea :).

Haha :) Thanks!
@dunsky really some advertisement are shit of piece in world.
Considering this one as well? 😅
Is this an art (should I call it analogue art) or it's a digital art (done with digitalized devices). It looks so real. I must say, you're an extraordinary artist... I also intend to learn digital art as well. Nice piece of art
Thank you so much! I think it doesn't matter which instrument you are using. Anyway you are using your own hands and mind so this all could be considered as art if people likes it.
I recently posted an art on my feed. Check it out https://steemit.com/art/@whizart/dan-larimer-portrait I would really appreciate a resteem, upvote and comments. Thanks Sire
I actually upvoted it already few hours before and this is nice work but I would suggest you not to send such a links here because people may assume this as a spam and flag you.
