En este video les compartimos un reto de arte muy interesante al que le puse el nombre de #UnPincelTexturizadoChallenge. Se trata de hacer una ilustración ocupando un solo pincel. Es posible cambiarle algunas propiedades como la opacidad, la saturación o el grosor, pero debes usar el mismo pincel para todo, hasta para borrar. Espero que disfruten mucho el video.

On today's video I share a challenge where you have to do an illustration with only one brush. You can change the properties of the brush but you have to use it for all, even to erase. This time we were not able to add subtitles, but we share a translation of everything I said on the video:

On today’s video we will show you the process of a digital illustration using only one brush.
But this is not any pencil, it is a textured pencil, this is a challenge that I’ve put myself and I don’t know if it already exists but I will pass it to someone else.
Let’s begin:
First I was a little afraid because I was not sure if I was going to be able to make blurred effect. I was very surprised to see that it was able.To chose your pencil I recommend you to pick one that you feel comfortable. You can all the tests you need until you find one. I will show you all the textured brushed that Autodesk Sketchbook by default. This is the app that I use for my digital illustrations.
Work with only one pencil sounds a little limited, but you can do a lot of things, for example:
You can play with the saturation of color and this way you can get the blurring effect. You can also give depth tones. To erase you have to put your brush with a transparent effect, this means that you cannot use the regular eraser. You can change the size of the brush to make details and also change the color. On different layers you can change the opacity.
There are several textured brushes, but the idea of this challenge is to exercise our creativity and your agility to illustrate with few resources.
As part of the challenge you have to choose from one of the default brushes from you app or software. For the illustration I used a range darker skin colors and for the clothes more neutral tones. The background was also made with the same brush.
