I am still working on this portrait right now. Started new white charcoal work too finally about what i was talking in yesterdays post, so that will come soon also. Right now i am focusing on this the most.
Part 7: https://steemit.com/art/@edgarsart/new-commissioned-girl-pencil-portrait-by-edgarsart-part-7
I am drawing clothe still, and in the same time i am shading, trying to match the smile of the girl, compared to the photo given. Left hair for a moment-Will finish that in the very end, when the background will be smudged. The final work with an eraser.
I need about 30 minutes to finish the jacket and almost everything will be done. But i think i will work on the face on this even more later. Sometimes it is just extra hard to match the smile, expression. Sometimes i can look at the work, compare the eyes, nose, smile and everything seems right, well done, but something is missing compared to the photo, or real life reference, and you just can not figure out what is wrong. This is clearly one of those works. Already spent a lot of time on that. But at least i am getting slow progress towards the result.
In this picture i combined one of my previous process photos. Here it can be easily seen how i am working on the face, shading. Shaded the cheeks more and corrected the eyes too. Made them a little bit bigger and they now seem to stand out more than before.
I included a link to my verification post, that all of the drawings posted here are done by me: https://steemit.com/art/@edgarsart/edgarsart-original-art-now-verified
