White Fur Drawing White Cat Charcoal Drawing By EdgarsArt

To this day i have been looking very sceptical on my ability to draw white fur. I can not say that i have tried a lot to do ut but maybe that is also part of the reason why i am in some way scared of it.
Looking at this work which is the only drawing of a completely white cat,i feel that little spark in me. When i made which was two years ago already,i was very unhappy about the result. One of the rare works that i actually hated a little bit. I even was feeling like i should just have given up and that i never made it. It took me couple of days to decide to even publish it. Luckily in the end it was purchased,which was a surprise itself.
Now as the time went by, i was slowly starting to feel a little bit different about it. When six months ago i did black cat request,completelly black which some of you may remember because i posted it here in multiple posts,i started to look at all of this from a different angle. It is different to draw one colored animal than it is to draw fur which has many details,tigers,lions for example. I can not say which is harder, but for me one colored is harder, because i have not practised. Not since lately i have been drawing with white pen on black paper,white charcoal also, it is very interesting for me to learn more about white fur,white pigments, and how to reflect that in my drawings. I always wanted to make a drawing of a white polar bear. In order to do that, i have to learn and to practise for months.
