I really like what you did with the more detailed background and the 3/4 profile on Doom's face. I do think that it loses a bit with his stance, as compared to the original - you don't need to keep all the fallen in there (though, retaining Colossus would be nice), it's more about the victorious knee-lift. I think I like the skull goblet better, it's definitely more badass and I can understand why Marvel wouldn't have that on their cover. Not sure if it's entirely something Doom would drink out of, though.
