The eurasian bluetit is such a cute little bird, they are quite the acrobat - known for hanging upside down on the ends of branches catching their food.
Looking at a tutorial a while back i got the tip to try out my composition and colors in photoshop, before starting painting in oil. I tried it a few times and it works really well for me!! So, first i take a picture of the surface, i paint a lot on wood because i love how the texture adds to the painting. I open it in photoshop and draw away.
Here is the picture of the wood with one or several layers drawn on top of it. This is a rough sketch of what i strive to accomplish, what i hope the painting will look like once im finished.
And a progress picture. The first picture in this post is what it looks like now. I will wait a couple of days and let it dry before adding more to it
I love these little birds too - can't wait to see the finished piece!
They´re so cute!!
Me too, im super pumped about it so far :D
Lovely - sometimes we get bluetits in the garden, they are very entertaining. That is a very interesting process for trying out your ideas.
Yeah i love those little guys :) so cute
Thanks, I found that it helped me a lot, i dare to experiment and try things i normally wouldnt do
