This self-portrait was part of the collection of drawings that I lost.
This was particularly fun to make, given that the instruction I was given in class at the time was to grab a flashlight, a mirror, and an eraser after having blacked out the entire page in charcoal.
"Erase yourself onto the page."
That's what my instructor told me to do, and it's exactly what I did.

it looks like the charcoal is engulfing you in a way similar to a portal, or maybe the portal is expanding? either way, it would be cool to see more art works from you :)
