I am back in Berlin and finished my travel sketchbook, called "Ang Ku Kueh". My watercolor leporello travel sketchbook is made in January 2019 in Singapore, Indonesia and Germany. I ate an "ang ku kueh" for the first time in Singapore. A marvellous delicacy filled with a crunchy peanut paste. An "ang ku kueh" is a chinese pastry lying on a small banana leaf square. It looks like a red tortoise on a green carpet. The soft ovale, which has a sticky shiny skin, hides a sweet filling in the center. I went also to the Singapore Botanic Garden, Batam Indonesia, ate a variety of delicious food, walked on East Coast Park, Chinatown and in shopping malls with air con.
