I feel it's important to get an actual portrayal of the way things go down - so I started making a new short film. This is gonna be a timed run to see how quick I can get something done. I'm trying out blender's new 2d drawing tools. Considering I don't know how to draw I figured why not make a cartoon. It seems like the natural course of action. It's gonna be short and probably kinda shitty but I suck at everything anyway, so no big deal. Perfect. Here's the beginning in the form of a gif:

I didn't actually draw anything yet. I cheated by using blender's freestyle settings (it generates lines to make things look drawn) on a 3d model of a jet that took almost no time to extrude together, Behind it is a gradient background and some noise to generate the clouds. Freestyle kinda did an ok job outlining the jet.
When it's over, the plan is to make more of a story of it by making it into a comic. You'll be able to find it all in the Elf Portal eventually.
More to come...
