RE: THE FLOWER OF GREAT BEAUTY UNFOLDING 69 | A journey in original ambient electronic music and abstract video art

I think you could find great success here with making your blog entirely content creation for now while you are still small and looking to grow in support.

I have found little accounts which put too much opinion into their blogs about what is wrong with steemit get less support by those who have been here and are trying to address the problems.

People are working on the issues; they tend to correct themselves 1 at a time, there have been some pretty big fuckups in previous forks by jumping the gun and making changes based on crowd input which have turned out bad for the rest of us overall.

This is a blogging site in the end and as we do all have our own opinions this site is more about content creation to thrive, not thoughts. Just my two cents on the flags and all of the other things wrong. Once your account is more established as a part of the community that is when and where you have breathing room to voice an opinion. You can do it now of course, but it will make growth a long slow journey when it could be quite quick with straight content creation at least as far as blog post creation goes. Voice your opinion over comments, and you will grow much faster.

I say all of this as there have been many who make new accounts just to start controversy and when a new real account shows up with a loud voice they are viewed as a fake account based on former actions by others.

I wish you luck on our platform Stephen and offer the above as suggestions to help your success, not to oppress or silence you.

Thank you so much for your input. I really appreciate it.

I posted only one article somewhat critical of cryptocurrency in general. And the only post I have made about Steemit was my suggestions post. I kinda realized early on that I should save it for when I have been here a while. I agree with your advice. I will back off any controversy in my posts on my blog. I decided early on also not to get into curation as it would clutter up my blog with other peoples content. That way people will better see what I am all about. At least in the beginning. So I am currently not doing any curation either.

Thanks again, and Happy Steeming!

Curation is the reward earned from upvoting someone else. Only resteems show up in your feed, I would avoid resteeming anyone until you have 1,500 followers. You are correct, people need to see your post first to get your personal blog going after that a resteem introduces that person to your readers. I have resteemed this post, hope you get some new views.

Thank you for the resteem! It had a big response. I got 49 upvotes immediately. I really appreciate that. :-)

If we can't help each other what is the point of being here?

Amen to that!

Thank you for clarifying curation. I'm still learning.
