“The Tiger”
I decided to make a new pinting of my Mom’s 40 year old art. And wanted to show my fellow steemians the process by which has kept me from using steemit or any gadgets/distractions. This 1st day process took me 3 hrs till decided to stop and let the oil dry a little before putting another layer.
Let me show you my process.
First i made my embossed flower of life symbol and made a light sketch of my subjects, planning to make a yin and yang style
Started on the back ground color with Pthalo blue
then focused my work on the background first and made a glacier mountain with a far away water falls
and while allowing the background to dry started blocking in some colors for my tiger
- then its easier to find the light and dark hues on the subject, then outlining the details with ivory black.
Now i just need to allow it to dry over night and start on adding more layers. With painting it usually looks ugly at first but the more layers you put the more lively the colors and details will going to be.
Here is the original embroidered 40 yr old art that my mom did.
Let me also show you in another blog the progress of my black panther.
Hope you guys follow me for the next three days till i finish this art.
Love the process, and well done on the result, really nice work!!
Thank you @smiloart

Ganda ng ouput, galing talaga. :)
Thanks @zararina
Wow. Super galing. Pero sir talo ka ni mommy mo. That is one superb piece, to think that's embroidered? Simply amazing. I wonder how many hours she did that. I guess may pinagmanahan ka. Good job!
I know right, dami rin nyang mga cross stitch, dami nya rin art. Thanks for stopping by @deveerei
Astig. Fan aki ng cross stitch. Parents ko naggaganun nung maliit pa ako.
