Limiting your color palette in watercolors is a wonderful way to gain cohesion and moodiness. That is what I did with this simple piece. Using two hues and various brush techniques I was able to achieve a gentle feeling, and therefore, adding this particular text is fitting.
"Peace Begins with Me" is a theme I repeat verbally and in writing. It's an important reminder of how to achieve the world I want to live in. I deplore war, and if I can commit to being peaceful in my own heart and mind, I will never advocate for it.
