"Blue Poles" aka "Number 11" is an expressionist piece by American artist Jackson Pollock. Does anybody else just not see the value in a whole bunch of different colours of paint thrown on to a canvas? The painting was purchased in 1973 for $1.3 million AUD and is still currently sitting in the National Gallery of Australia in Canberra. Its estimated worth lies somewhere between $100 million to $350 million.
I just don't see it.
Has anybody else come across insanely overvalued pieces of art?
