New, red, and beautiful.
Hard, seedy, and tasteless.
Appeal thorny.
Strawberry Late Season
Voluptuously full.
Sickly over-sweet.
Juices everywhere.
Muscadine in Autumn
Dried skin, shriveled up.
Juice gone, pit hard.
Extracts taken.
Here is the pretty spring blackberry and her thorny appeal. I painted this in one sitting while I was disgusted with superficiality. Maybe I was feeling a bit like a dried muscadine. I love her shallow superficiality now—I want to eat up all the stages, and all the perceptions of life.
