This is a second article about the art I've shot at the Kaohsiung Art Fair in Taiwan. If you haven't read my first article you can do so here: 📷 Kaohsiung International Art Fair #1 Venue. The article has an introduction about the International Art Fair.
Today, I am showcasing one of the exhibitors and the photos I took there.
Caves Art Center - 敦煌藝術中心
That's a Taiwanese art gallery founded in 1983 by an artist Hong Ping Tao. It showcases Taiwanese and Chinese artists. You can visit their website at this address: http://www.cavesart.com/
And this is the work that they presented at the art fair (photos taken by me).
This is my favorite from their collection. I don't really know what to think about it. Just looking at and my head is full of ideas and stories how this happened. What would be your back story of this painting?
Other presented paintings are definitely much more traditional and conservative.
You might wonder why people dress like that to visit an art gallery, right? There was Kobe Bryant event happening just next door...
All the paintings and statues presented at the show were for sale. Which one would you choose?
If you like art and photography, please upvote, resteem and follow me. I will be posting more art from the show, but also other articles about my photography work, travel, finance, and everything else I find interesting.
