This is interesting ! It reminds me of a stage curtain ( maybe because I was an actress in the past :) ,don't know ). It seems to me that on the other side of the curtain there are different sources of light. With one side of the stage is a bright and passionate light from the lamp on the ceiling or high street lamp. On the other hand it is not a bright table lamp with soft light. But still , I think this curtain of two very different halves will open and we will see the essence,we will see something real,something hidden deep inside ... :) this is my opinion,my interpretation
