"Cowboy's home in the 21st century" drawing : learning art 3# (explaining the series)

in #art7 years ago

Short Introduction:
My name is Haisir. I'm a teen gamer who occasionally enjoys drawing things of all proportions. And I've created the series learning art to do exactly that... learn art, or at least most of the mediums that I can get my hands on. Like for example - painting, photography, and drawing. Enjoy!

Another day of learning art, another drawing. Today I was looking at some YouTube videos and saw some interesting drawings of landscapes and buildings, so I decided to take a look at what I could draw.

Here are some pictures of the process:

The picture turned out a bit blurry(sorry about that). I started with drawing some weird looking floating raft thingy. No idea why but I thought it would look cool. And from this point on I got stuck and didn't know where to go from here. So I thought I'd continue with some sort of house, but I tried to keep it 21st century while also adding elements from the old west(hence the gate where a door should have been).

And I thought I'd add some clouds to populate the top of the page. After drawing this I came to the conclusion that not every time can you draw something beautiful. And that leads me to my next point.

This series is meant for me as an individual to progress and try to learn art, because like anything else there is more hard work than natural talent involved in making art. Not saying that talent isn't needed, of course, it helps, but nothing can beat pure practice. And you may see drawings like these in the future because nobody is perfect, and I'm just here to show you my art, even it isn't up to some standards.

And as always, I hope you enjoyed reading and looking at my drawings, make sure to follow for more posts like this in the future.
